Matt Wilson

Matt Wilson has recently become the Team Leader, Compliance & Investigation (Land & Air) at Tasman District Council (a Unitary Authority), leading a team responsible for environmental compliance, investigations, and enforcement across a wide range of resource management matters. With over 10 years’ experience in the environmental management field and as an Compliance Officer Matt has developed expertise in air quality, industrial discharges, erosion and sediment control, and compliance strategy. He is passionate about achieving positive environmental outcomes through clear communication and practical regulatory approaches. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Canterbury.
