Ngā Hapū o Ōtaki and Greater Wellington
Ngā Hapū o Ōtaki and Greater Wellington have been on a journey - exploring ways to collaborate on compliance monitoring and environmental incident response in the Otaki area.
This has included progressing options for warranting Ngā Hapū o Ōtaki staff/representatives, assisting with responding to environmental incidents, and undertaking compliance monitoring of resource consents.
Like any journey it’s had diversions, smooth rides, roadblocks, and speed bumps!
We’ll share the learning outcomes to hopefully inspire what partnership with mana whenua can look like to achieve environmental compliance outcomes.
